Religion and Cremation

Cremation is becoming more acceptable for many religions as an alternative to traditional burial. While some religions may still prefer a traditional burial over cremation, the idea of cremation with a service is becoming more acceptable.

Religions who once denied cremation as an option, are now accepting cremation and viewing this option as less of a violation of their religious beliefs.
